Case Study | JCV Series | Reuse of High-Temperature Water in a Food Factory

Client: Kabura Foods Co., Ltd. (Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan)
Application: Reuse of High-Temperature Water
Model: JCV-7-50-A-S16

Recovered high-temperature water used in the konjac manufacturing process

The submersible pump previously used by the customer was not designed to handle high temperatures, causing it to shut down shortly after startup. As a result, recovering high-temperature water was extremely difficult.

By switching to our JCV series, stable recovery is now possible even under high-temperature conditions of up to 80°C.

A hygienic, all-stainless steel (SUS316) model with float switch was selected

Since the application involved slightly alkaline high-temperature water and was intended for use in a food processing facility, a hygienic, all-stainless steel (SUS316) model was selected.

In addition, the pump was delivered with a high-temperature-compatible float switch, allowing for automatic operation when the pit becomes full.
