Case Study | JCV Series | Delivered to Major Steel Plant – pH 12.5, Liquid Temperature 70°C

Client: Major steel manufacturer in the Kanto region
Application: Transfer of high-temperature water (70°C) with pH 12.5 and 50 ppm silica-based suspended solids (SS)
Model: JCV-15-50-S16-V (440V specification, all stainless steel SUS316)

Selected for handling alkaline high-temperature drainage

A major steel manufacturer consulted us regarding the transfer of high-temperature water and selected our heat-resistant submersible pump, the JCV Series.

Due to the alkaline nature of the wastewater, an all-stainless steel construction was required. The pump also successfully handled the silica-based suspended solids (SS) concentration without issues.

Fluid specifications: pH 12.5, SS = 50 ppm (silica-based suspended solids), liquid temperature 70°C.

Short lead times are available for alternate voltage options as well

The order was for a 440V three-phase pump, and we were able to meet the delivery schedule with our standard all-stainless steel model. While other manufacturers typically require around three months for a 440V pump, H2 – specializing in heat-resistant submersible pumps – can ship in approximately half that time.

If you are experiencing issues with delayed delivery when your current pumps fail, please don’t hesitate to contact us for support.
