Utilizing Existing Self-Priming Pump for Floating Oil Collection

The customer requested to recover floating oil using an existing self-priming chemical pump (manufactured by another company).

To meet this need, we modified our floating oil skimmer float and delivered a custom solution.

A special float was equipped with a suction inlet and hose attachment, allowing the existing self-priming pump to effectively recover the oil from the water surface.

We successfully met the customer’s request for a cost-effective solution, resulting in a highly satisfactory outcome.

From Transfer to Filtration and Recirculation

The customer already owned a self-priming filtration unit from Manufacturer W.
With the addition of a new tank, they now needed to recover floating oil from the expanded section as well.
To reduce initial costs, they wanted to reuse the existing self-priming pump for the new tank.

However, the float (parts only) from Manufacturer W was expensive, so they consulted with us.
After careful discussions on the specifications, our custom float was selected for the project.
