Case Study|LC Series|Transfer of Highly Corrosive Wastewater from a Chemical Plant

Client: Chemical Plant in the Chubu Region
Application: Transfer of Industrial Wastewater
Model: Corrosion-Resistant Submersible Pump LC Series

To transfer wastewater containing a mixture of various chemical liquids

We need to transfer wastewater from a pit containing wash water mixed with various chemicals using a submersible pump.

Specifically, the wastewater included:

  • Caustic soda
  • Diluted sulfuric acid
  • Sodium hypochlorite

We proposed the LC Series corrosion-resistant submersible pump, which is compatible with all of these chemical liquids, and it was subsequently adopted for the application.

Also compatible with float-type level control systems

The client requested automatic control: starting the pump when wastewater accumulates in the pit and stopping it as the level drops.
We proposed an optional liquid level control system consisting of a corrosion-resistant float and a simple control box.

This project was carried out as a modification to an existing neutralization system (manufactured by another company).
By integrating our solution, we helped automate a neutralization process that had previously been done entirely by hand.

At H2, we make automation possible even for operations once thought impossible.
We specialize in custom and special specifications— so if you’ve been turned down by other manufacturers or found the costs too high, please feel free to contact us — we may have the solution you need.
