A chemical plant contacted us regarding precise transfer of UV curable resin.
Initially, they considered diaphragm pumps from other manufacturers, but they chose our sanitary diaphragm pump SB series for its superior cleanability and because we could offer it as part of an integrated system.
Weight-controlled, metered transfer system
The customer requested weight-based control rather than volume-based, so we designed a system using a scale for weight control. We also selected and supplied the scale.
After receiving signals from the scale, slight pump slippage can be adjusted on the touch panel.
The customer wanted the system to be portable on a cart, so we custom-built a stainless steel cart.
