Case Study｜Transfer of Cosmetic Intermediate Raw Materials

A cosmetics manufacturing plant in the Northern Kanto region requested assistance with transferring cosmetic intermediate raw materials.

We had an existing relationship with the client through previous orders of sanitary single-screw pumps, and this project was a separate request.

Since their main requirement was simply to transfer the materials reliably, we proposed the SB Series sanitary diaphragm pump.

After testing the demo unit and confirming its cleanability and transfer performance, the client approved and adopted the solution.

The viscosity of the cosmetic intermediate raw materials was about 300 cP, but the pump handled the transfer without any issues.

Although this unit serves as a backup, the client appreciated its light weight and excellent cost performance.

In particular, for transferring cosmetics and food products, cleanability (sanitary design) is a key concern on site.

Since cleanability is difficult to quantify, the best way is to experience the actual equipment firsthand.
